How about a photo for our page headers? We are looking for high resolution photographs of Central Illinois facilities which fit with the general theme of facilities and facility management. We'd like more skylines of cities, during the day or at night, like the one on our main page, showing buildings in Champaign-Urbana, Springfield, Decatur, Bloomington-Normal. Other ideas for submissions could be individual commercial, industrial or government facilities or campuses. Pictures should be pre-cropped to 970 x 343 pixels, or uncropped up to as large as 3504 x 2339 pixels. Please submit all entries to webservant@cicifma.com for consideration.

The musiccal selection you are hearing is an instrumental montage of classical guitar clips from Erik Mongrain, a classical guitar superstar, whose meteoric rise has been phenomenal. His unusual signature sound is distinctive among contemporary classical music because he "taps" or "slaps" the guitar strings, a technique made instantly known worldwide by his viral YouTube video, "Air Tap".

Photo Viewer Controls:

PLAY or STOP: The top control (looks like a Polaroid picture) toggles to play or stop the slide show.
MUTE: The middle control (looks like a musical note) toggles to turn the music off or on.
DISPLAY ALBUMS: The bottom control (looks like a photo album book) displays the menu of the photo albums in the gallery superimposed over the slide show screen. Click once to show the menu, click again to minimize it. Click an album to select it for display.
SCROLL: The bars to the left and right of the filmstrip at the bottom of the viewer allow you to scroll through the photos in the album.

Our Chapter's Photos From IFMA World Workplace

Attention Central Illinois Chapter Members!! We had a great time at World Workplace and we learned a lot about our industry, sustainability, management and best practices. Hopefully you all took pictures. If you have photos from the Conference please send them to the Chapter webservant with captions, and they will be posted here. Please allow 3-4 days for your photos to appear.
